2025 End-of-Year Celebrations with DoPT Friends & Supporters
On December 9th, 10th, and 16th, 2025, DoPT hosted in-person and virtual end of year holiday parties for our friends in urban and rural Minnesota, and further afield.
This year, we were joined by Beyond the Clock Resident Artist, Eliza Blue (Bison, SD), who shared her gift of stories and songs! Eliza debuted a new album she wrote based on conversations with rural artists and cultural workers across the country.
All three events were exceptionally heartwarming, intimate gatherings, despite cold and snowy weather. Thanks to everyone who joined us (or wanted to, but were thwarted by the weather!) for an evening of reflection and celebration.
Sharing the stories of DoPT's impact, alongside the work of the Beyond the Clock artists, provided much light to dark nights. We look forward to shining brightly with you in the new year!

Toast from 2025 Virtual Holiday Party
May we sing our stories loudly
May we meet ferocity with generosity
May we make it our job to learn about other people’s lives
May we rise up!
May we smile and cry, both!
And, may we slow river our way home.
May we blossom where we are planted
May we feel found, not lost
May we feel seen, heard and witnessed.
May we offer our time to others
May we all live long, happy lives!
And, may we slow river our way home.
