Please join us for an intimate virtual conversation with activist, advocate and founder of Protect the Sacred, Allie Redhorse Young, at our next Beyond the Clock, which will take place on Tuesday, August 11th from 4 – 5 PM CST.
Allie Redhorse Young is a passionate Diné (Navajo) activist and advocate for Indigenous youth empowerment and civic engagement. She is the founder of Protect the Sacred, a movement that mobilizes Native communities, particularly youth, to protect their culture, health, and voting rights.
Through initiatives like Ride to the Polls, Allie has inspired Native youth to engage in the democratic process, while also bridging the gap between generations by reconnecting them with elders to preserve ancestral knowledge. She is dedicated to elevating Indigenous voices and advocating for Indigenous rights, culture, and sovereignty.
BEYOND THE CLOCK is a monthly online gathering that fosters fellowship, shared learning, and community care for rural connectors and cultural workers.
Co-hosted by Department of Public Transformation and Voices for Rural Resilience, with support from the Rural Assembly, Beyond the Clock invites creative rural rockstars from across the country to share in digital happy hours and learning exchanges that connect and inspire.
