We will be joined by artist and poet Molina Speaks (Warm Cookies of the Revolution) and healing arts practitioner Jessica Chacon, to explore what becomes possible when art, ritual, healing, and civic imagination come together to build more connected rural futures.

Bios:
Adrian H Molina, aka Molina Speaks, is an artist, poet, and master of ceremonies. Molina is a New America Us@250 Fellow. He does it all at Warm Cookies of the Revolution from program design to poetic scribing to coordinating our Future Town program.
Jessica Chacon is multi-dimensional mental health practitioner, movement educator & facilitator in the healing arts. She is the owner of Sweetgrass Therapeutics, an integrative wellness center & yoga studio in Alamosa, CO. She's passionate about bringing back ceremonial, ritualistic and communal ways of relating into the field of mental health. She blends Earth-based wisdom, Indigenous & Eastern philosophies with modern science-helping humans to integrate and embody what it means to be human on the Earth at this time. From private practice, to women’s circles, retreats, teacher trainings and community organizing, Jessica hopes to help people de-colonize their mind & body to re-member who they truly are and widen their capacity to be present in their lives. Jessica has also been working with Warm Cookies of the Revolution & Future Town to uplift the people of the San Luis Valley & other rural CO towns with more music, art, culture & community.
BEYOND THE CLOCK is a monthly online gathering that fosters fellowship, shared learning, and community care for rural connectors and cultural workers. Co-hosted by the Department of Public Transformation and Voices for Rural Resilience, with support from the Rural Assembly, Beyond the Clock invites creative rural rockstars from across the country to share in digital happy hours and learning exchanges that connect and inspire.
